Every ad in our magazine has two QR codes. The Video code shows you a 30-second video of the business. The Deal code shows you the offer with buttons to call or get directions. You use your phone camera for both.
Scanning the video code
Open your phone camera and point it at the code that says Video. A link will pop up on your screen. Tap that link to watch a short video. These videos are usually 30 seconds long. They show you what the shop looks like inside.
We do not have a City Deals app yet. You do not need to download anything from an app store. Your normal camera works fine. If the link does not show up, make sure your lens is clean and the paper is flat.
Using the deal code
The second code on the page is for the Deal. When you scan this, you will see a digital version of the offer. This page has big buttons you can tap. One button calls the shop directly. Another button opens your map for driving directions.
You can show this screen to the person at the shop to get your discount. It is a fast way to save money without cutting the paper. If you have questions about an offer, you can contact us to ask for help.
How to scan the codes
- Open Camera
Turn on your phone and open the camera app.
- Point at Code
Hold the phone over the Video or Deal code. Do not take a photo.
- Tap the Link
A yellow or white link will appear. Tap it with your finger.
- Watch or Call
Watch the 30-second clip or use the buttons to call the shop.

We mail these magazines to homes in South Florida. Right now, we print for Kendall, Westchester, and Miami Lakes. About 10,000 homes is the number we advertise for each area. You can see more about our areas online.
