The City Deals maps button helps people find your shop. It is a digital button on the screen after someone scans your ad. When a customer taps it, their phone opens a map app with your address already loaded.
How the button works
Every ad in our magazine has two QR codes. One is for a video. The other is for your deal. When a person scans the deal code with their phone camera, a special page opens. They do not need a special app to do this. We do not have a City Deals app yet.
The page shows your offer and three main buttons. One button is for your phone number. One button shows the offer to your staff. The third button is the maps button. It uses the GPS already inside the customer's phone to show them the way to your door.
Steps for the customer
- Scan the code
The customer points their phone camera at the DEAL code on your printed ad.
- Tap the link
A link pops up on their screen. They tap it to open your offer page.
- Press the map
They tap the maps button to see how far away your shop is from their house.
- Start driving
The phone gives them turn-by-turn directions to your specific address.
Where we mail the ads
We print a magazine that goes to homes in South Florida. Planned reach: about 10,000 homes per area. Confirm coverage and the next mailing with our team. We currently mail to Kendall, Westchester, and Miami Lakes. If your shop is in one of these spots, the maps button helps local neighbors find you quickly.
Checking your details
It is important that your address is correct. We use the address you give us to set up the maps button. If you move or change your suite number, you must tell us. You can contact us to check what address we have on file for your next ad.

Frequently asked questions
Do customers need to download an app to use the map?
No. They use their normal phone camera to scan the code. The map opens in their phone's web browser or standard map app.
Can I change my address after the magazine is mailed?
The print ad cannot change once mailed. We might be able to update the digital link for the maps button. Please email info@citydeals.ai to ask.
Does the maps button cost extra?
No. The maps button is included with every DEAL QR code in the mail package.
